Background

Sheng Cheung Electrical Company and Siantar Metal company were established in 1978. In view of the opening of the China market, SSCEM set up its first inland factory in Long Gong, Shenzhen, China in 1990. To cope with the rapid growth of business and to reduce production cost, SSCEM purchased an industrial lot in Qing Xi, Dongguan in 1994 and built a factory with a size of 7,800 sqm. The upper level of the factory is wire harness assembly which houses more than 100 production plants and around 230 employees. Whilst, the lower level is equipped with 72 screw machines mainly for the production of screw and metal part. SSCEM has been granted the ISO9001 (2000 Edition) at the beginning of 2003.
